Mission Hill Reserve Chardonnay 2025
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis has always been a solid chardonnay and an even better value. The work that went into Perpetua has filtered down to this inexpensive Reserve label. Look for layered green apple, lemon, and pear, with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, and toasted hazelnut. Creamy but fresh, this is a full-bodied, exciting, modern, Next World chardonnay selling at a great price. Polished, it teems with freshness and style. The grapes are hand harvested, gently pressed, and vinified in vineyard level batches. Several French oak coopers are used for each batch, and post-ferment, the wine is matured in barrel for a further 7 months, undergoing bâtonnage to enhance mouthfeel and texture. The fruit is sourced from Naramata Ranch (41%), Oliver (26%), East Kelowna (21%), and Osoyoos East (12%).Tasted: 17 October 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $27.00 | 750ml | BCLS, winery direct |
