Rueda, Castilla-Leon, SpainThis organic verdejo comes off 50 year old bush vines rooted in the gravelled sandy soils of Rueda. After a cool ferment in stainless, this rested in a mix of 80 / 20 stainless / new French oak for 4 months, on lees. Lemon verbena, white peach, yellow and green apple glide along the medium bodied palate, atop a lightly waxen base, and finish with a snappy tangerine twist.
