Rueda, Castilla-Leon, Spain50 year old bush vines in Rueda are the source of this verdejo. Do you need any more information to buy this wine for $17? It aged on lees in an 80/20 mix of stainless steel and new French oak for four months. Clean, lively, vibrant white fruits streaked with tangerine rush across a soft creamy palate with a touch of spice in the finish. Highly underrated, the friendly white is the Spanish version of sauvignon blanc without the biting acidity. Westcoast shellfish is a good match, or a favourite vegetarian bowl.
