Château Pesquié Ventoux Terrasses Rouge 2023
Ventoux, Southern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceThe Pesquié Terrasses Rouge is a mainstay in the French section of government liquor stores, and it's no secret why. It is a very good wine, and the price is equally attractive. It is grown organically at the foot of Mount Ventoux on stony limestone mixed with iron oxide, sands, and clays. The blend is 60/40 grenache/syrah. The nose is a black raspberry and mulberry affair, while the palate is a juicy, full flavoured, easy drinking, meaty, earthy red with a stony mineral undertone. Think pizzas, barbecued kebabs, charcuterie plates, and more. Ventoux is uniquely positioned to combine the richness of the South with the firmness and restraint of the North, and they do it well at Pesquié.Tasted: 17 July 2026Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:| BC | $21.99 | 750ml | BCL Stores |
