Blasted Church Unorthodox Chardonnay 2025
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaUnorthodox refers to the aromatic Chardonnay Musqué grape used in this wine, one of the few 100 percent examples in B.C. It is harvested in two separate picks, just a few days apart, to separate the 37-year-old fruit from the young vines. After 48 hours of cold settling, the clean juice is racked off into stainless-steel tanks and fermented. The flavours are an aromatic mix of lemon zest, orange, and white flowers, followed by the more tropical character of the first pick, with litchi and spicy muscat notes.
