Mission Hill Perpetua Chardonnay 2023

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPerpetua remains one of the most complete expressions of BC Chardonnay, and, surprisingly, a fair amount of this wine comes from the south Okanagan, right down to the border. The nose is youthful and fresh, with lemon curd, ripe pear, and subtle crushed stone, all supported by a smoky oak undercurrent. The palate is weighty, offering layers of citrus peel, green peach, and hazelnut, with plenty of acidity to cleanse the palate. The texture is creamy but feather-light, while the finish is long, saline, and precise. This is a wine you can enjoy now or hold through 2030 with no problem. Among the benchmark Chardonnays made in Canada. There is one big change: the one-of-a-kind pewter strip label they launched the wine with is gone.Tasted: 25 December 2025Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
