Mission Hill Perpetua Chardonnay 2018

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPerpetua is now harvested from four individual blocks of Dijon clones 96, 548, 95, and 76 in Mission Hill’s eastern Osoyoos (52 percent) and Naramata (48 percent) vineyards. At the winery, it is fermented sur lie for nine months in a combination of French oak barriques and puncheons, and turned out a delicious 13 percent alcohol. Look for a reductive struck match and lemon nose that permeates the wine from front to back. The mix of the fruit, texture, acid, and lees is near perfect on the palate, making this one of the best Perpetua yet.Tasted: 19 September 2020Tasted by: Prices:
