Mission Hill Perpetua Chardonnay 2023

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPerpetua remains one of the most complete expressions of BC Chardonnay. Surprisingly, a fair amount of this wine comes from the South Okanagan, with 56% from Jagged Rock, and 44% from the Osoyoos Vineyards, hard up against the United States border. The palate is youthful and lively, with a combination of citrus, ripe pear, and subtle minerality that speaks to precision. It is weighty, offering layers of citrus peel, green peach, and hazelnut, along with smoky oak and plenty of acidity to cleanse the finish. The texture is creamy yet feather light, while the finish is long, saline, and precise. This is a wine you can enjoy now or hold through 2030 and beyond. It is among the benchmark Canadian Chardonnays. There is one change. The one of a kind heavy pewter strip label they launched the wine with is gone.Tasted: 20 August 2026Tasted by: Prices:
