Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWith fruit from both Osoyoos east and west benches, this syrah was destemmed and uncrushed into a warm ferment in stainless, before moving to 225L French and Hungarian barriques (28% new) for 2 years. Wild blackberry, dense black plum, cassis are packed into this full bodied red, seasoned liberally with cracked pepercorns and toasted wood, and clad with chewy, sticky tannins, finishing with bitter dark cocoa.
