Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis makes for an interesting contrast to the Contraband Syrah, sourced from three vineyards along the Osoyoos East Bench. It's quite juicy with spiced blackberry, dark cherry, violets, and sweet oak from aging in 33% new Hungarian oak. It may not have the opulence or concentration of the Contraband but, instead, there's a freshness and floral lift that is just as appealing. It's real Okanagan syrah at a fantastic price.
