Stag's Hollow Renaissance Pinot Noir 2022
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOnly the best lots at Stag's Hollow make it to the Renaissance labels, which have only been issued nine times in the last 25 years. The pinot comes from the Shuttleworth Creek property. Two-thirds of the wine involves clones 667 and 115, but according to winemaker Keira Lefranc, it is the Pommard clone that completes the wine and gives it its raison d'être. The colour is light, and the nose is slightly reduced with a whiff of barnyard and black cherries. The entry is elegant and juicy with mostly red fruit and a tiny bit of tannin.
