Penfolds Max's Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

South Australia, AustraliaMax’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert (1948-1975), a Penfolds legend who created Grange and the Penfolds house style. The ’21 growing season was good, and this opaque cabernet is all the better for it. The nose is classic bay leaf and dark red fruits led by plums and mulberries, mingled with baking spices. The palate is savoury, pitching perfectly measured oak and dried wild herbs.
