Hester Creek Old Vine Brut 2021
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2021 Old Vine Brut is modelled in the classic blanc de blancs style using pinot blanc grapes from Hester Creek's Golden Mile Bench estate vineyard planted in 1968. Much like last year, it is a lean and tight mix of lemon and green apple with freshly baked buttered croissant notes. The palate has super fresh citrus and long linear lines. Oysters would be the match, or creamy mushroom risotto. The harvest process is all by hand, and the grapes are whole cluster pressed to retain their natural brightness.
