Blue Mountain Blossom Slope Chardonnay Single Vineyard Block 17 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom 32 year old vines planted to clones 76, 95, and 96, this comes from a warm, westerly block on loamy sand. It lives up to its name, opening with perfumed orchard blossoms that reveal crystalline lemon and white pear. The fruit is bright and intensely concentrated, effortlessly soaking up the 18 months in French barriques, with a delicate frame of pillowy leees and toasted clove and nutmeg. It's seamless, elegant, and restrained, but it has more depth to come from the time spent in the bottle.Tasted: 28 September 2024Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:
