Mayhem Cabernet Merlot 2022
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis blend of 92% merlot and 8% cabernet franc comes from Osoyoos' Anarchist Mountain Vineyard (planted 1994) and Oliver's Ryegrass Road Vineyard (planted 2009). All was destemmed into stainless for co-fermentation, with two weeks on skins before heading to French oak for 11 months. Wild blackberry, cassis, and dark plum are kissed with smoke and wrapped with sticky tannins.
