Mayhem Cabernet Merlot 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA superior vintage has left its mark on this red blend that in 2020 comes off three south Okanagan vineyards, mixing 89 percent merlot with 11 percent cabernet franc. The varieties were kept apart for five months in second use barrels before coming together for six more months in barrel. The tone is slightly softer, the fruit marginally riper than 2019 with medium-intense blackberry and blueberry that finish with a spicy, branchy, savoury note.
