Vignamaggio Cabernet Franc 2019
Tuscany, ItalyNestled between forests and streams on the Chianti hills, Vignamaggio is an organic farm with a historic wine cellar that has been in operation since 1404. The estate sprawls over more than 400 hectares, with organic vineyards, vegetable and ornamental gardens. This is the estate’s oldest wine, produced with grapes from vines that are 40+ years old, rediscovered by chance in the 1990s in the Solatio vineyards (south-west) and Orto (east). This is aged for 18–20 months in French barriques, with partial new wood.
