Black Hills Chardonnay 2021

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOff their southern Okanagan estate vineyards, this chardonnay was whole bunch pressed and native fermented in French puncheons and barriques (6% new), where the wine remained 10 months on lees. Lemon cream, downy lees pads the medium palate, framed with lightly toasted wood, and finishing with a bitter lemon thistle twist. My bottle tastes slightly faulted, so I will look to retaste in future.Tasted: 02 April 2024Tasted by: Prices:
