Black Hills Chardonnay 2015
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2015 whites are all super rich and this sweet, ripe white with caramel and butterscotch spread thick on the palate is a classic example. Ripe melon, baked pear, vanilla, a whack of spicy oak sit under a slick of glycerol. There is a lemon curd butteriness on the long, warm, round, sweet fruit finish. Old school, old style Napa which may appeal to a certain crowd. Best with lobster or fresh cracked crab.Tasted: 20 July 2017Tasted by: Treve Ring & Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $29.90 | 750ml | winery direct and private wine shops |
