Friuli-Venezia Giulia, ItalyI was hoping for more from Friuli, but this is pretty ordinary stuff and difficult to say, but it was overpriced at $4.99. The nose is dull, pitching green tones that spill onto a grassy palate with a splash of citrus and a dry finish flecked with bitter notes. We helped it out with a pesto asparagus pasta dish.
