Roche Pinot Gris 2021

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Roche style is more European than Okanagan, with a certain dryness and acidity that shows the structure. However, it still offers plenty of savoury Okanagan notes and orchard fruit. It has been grown organically at Kozier Vineyard on the Naramata Bench since 2007. Crunchy pear, fresh lemon, a creamy undercurrent, and a mineral ending add complexity. I love the versatility it brings to the table. It is aged 10 months in French neutral oak, adding depth and mouthfeel without any oak. Impressive.Tasted: 22 February 2024Tasted by: Prices:
