Roche Pinot Gris 2014

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThere’s more than one way to make a pinot gris and Roche is doing a fine job of doing something more interesting with this dry white, devoid of the omnipresent honey that tends to be slathered on so many BC examples. I love the bright, floral, mineral nose, the citrus, the lees and the spice that complexes the palate. The style is elegant, the texture creamy, and the finish long and persistent. Serve with grilled halibut, seafood pasta or mushroom risotto.Tasted: 30 August 2016Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
