Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyard Fortuna Terrae Vino de Parcela Malbec 2020

Gualtallary, Tupungato, Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaCatena bottles three vino de parcela malbecs from Adrianna Vineyard, located at 1450m elevation in the renowned district of Gualtallary in the Uco Valley. The Fortuna Terrae parcel is planted on deep loamy soils interspersed with native vegetation. There is a real shrubby, herbal quality to this wine, ranging from thyme to oregano to lavender, that seamlessly complements the expressive wild berry fruit. The palate is beautifully concentrated and structured, with fine grained, chalky tannins and pitch-perfect acidity that will allow this to gracefully age for another 10+ years. A remarkable malbec that shows what Gualtallary is all about.Tasted: 13 October 2023Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices:
