Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThere is 8.5% sémillon from Keremeos in the mix, which has a positive effect. Just over half the wine is barrel fermented, including co-fermenting the sémillon portion, while the remaining fruit is fermented in stainless steel. Post ferment, the wooded portion gets three months of lees stirring before five more months in wood undisturbed before the final blend, followed by another two months together before bottling. Look for an enriched sauvignon with a hint of the Bordeaux/Loire styling, pitching white grapefruit, citrus, stones, and lemon verbena. Perfect acidity keeps it all together, but this is a gastronomic wine you should bring to the table with rich, creamy seafood dishes.Tasted: 19 September 2023Tasted by: Prices:

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis Sauvignon is amped with 8.5% Semillon from their Keremeos vineyard. This was partially barrel and co-fermented, with the remaining 45% sauvvy fermented and aged solo in the tank. The barrel portion received three months of bâtonnage plus five more months rest before reunification with the tank sauvignon. Smoked lemon, baked green apple, white grapefruit, and lemon verbena run a plumped, glossy palate with soft edges and moderate acidity, trailing into a quiet citrus wake—certainly a richer, posher style of sauvignon, ready for your poached salmon or creamed asparagus dishes.Tasted: 03 October 2023Tasted by: Prices:
