Burrowing Owl Sauvignon Blanc 2013

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis barrel-aged white (60%) is an 88/12 mix of sauvignon blanc and sémillon. A portion of the finished wine was aged in a mix of oak including a small amount of new wood at 7 per cent. The style is fresh and open with tropical fruit notes of guava and passion fruit and pepper flavours. The palate is firm but not too dry with just hint of stony minerality. We suggest creamy seafood and or pasta dishes.Tasted: 26 December 2014Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
