Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Meyer Rosé is all pinot noir, and in 2021 it will come with a middle of the pack pink/orange colour. The fruit comes off a mix of sites across the Okanagan. Post ferment, it spends four months on its lees. Look for a strawberry campfire nose that spills onto the savoury, dry palate. Ready to drink now and best with bites of food.Tasted: 04 May 2022Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Falls, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe pinot for this deeper-hued rosé comes off their estate McLean Creek Road vineyard in Okanagan Falls, plus Lakehill Rd. in Kaleden, as well as from select growers throughout the Okanagan. After 12 hours of skin contact, this moved to stainless and older French oak barrels for partial native fermentation, full MLF, and a four months' rest on lees. More serious and savoury, with dark cherry, plum yogurt, smoked stone across a juicy, spiced, dry palate, lingering with subtle salinity. Crack into this now with duck and / or wild mushroom salad.Tasted: 09 May 2022Tasted by: Prices:
