Clos du Soleil Winemaker's Series Whispered Secret Vineyard Pinot Gris 2022
Keremeos, Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Keremeos' certified organic Whispered Secret Vineyard, this PG was whole cluster pressed and fermented slowly in a mix of stainless barrels, tanks, and French puncheons. After the month-long ferment, the wine aged on lees for 3 months prior to a light filtration and bottling. Asian pear and pear skin, green apple, white peach is kissed with apple blossoms, and laced with a tight grapefruit pith acidity, holding this lean and nimble. Lovely energy this year.
