Tightrope Winery Viognier 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOwners and growers Lindsay and Graham O’Rourke were the force behind the birth of Sustainable Winegrowers British Columbia, and the 2022 Fleet Road Vineyard, home to this viognier, is certified sustainable. It is fermented in a mix of French and acacia barrels and gets three months of lees contact to give it some mouthfeel. It must sit given the electric lime, mandarin orange, peach, and mango sprinkled with nutmeg. Alive, balanced, and sitting at 13.4 percent alcohol makes it even more appealing. You could argue it's not varietal, but it is more fun to drink than most. Twist off the screwcap and get going. You won't be disappointed.Tasted: 12 May 2023Tasted by: Prices:
