Tightrope Winery Viognier 2021
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaOwners and growers Lindsay and Graham O’Rourke were the force behind the birth of Sustainable Winegrowers British Columbia. Hence, it is no surprise their 2021 viognier from the Fleet Road Vineyard, Naramata Bench, is certified sustainable. It is fermented in a mix of French and Acacia barrels and gets just the right amount of lees contact, three months, to shape its texture and add a wisp of complexity to a delicious wine. It has all the standard viognier fruits and aromas from honeysuckle to tangerine in perfect balance at a modest 13.5 percent alcohol.
