Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their Osoyoos estate vineyard, this viognier was whole bunch pressed, with 75% fermenting in oak barrels (15% new) and the remainder in stainless, both with bâtonnage over 9 months. The toasty wood is an ever-present backdrop to ripe apricot, lush peach, honeysuckle, gingersnap spicing that stretches long across the fuller palate. Acid is in check to buoy this wine, one that smartly holds itself in check, even for a full-bodied Southern Okanagan viognier.Tasted: 13 July 2023Tasted by: Prices:

Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe style is plush with peach, honeysuckle, and cantaloupe. Ripe, round, rich, and even a bit sweet, this is a wine for rich foods and with a bit of spice. Hold or drink. BOV picks its viognier by hand. The majority of the juice (75%) was then drained by gravity flow into oak barrels for fermentation, while the remaining 25% was vinified in a stainless steel tank. All is aged for nine months in barrel on lees with regular stirring. Impressive.Tasted: 26 May 2023Tasted by: Prices:
