Marynissen Cabernet Syrah 2020
Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThis blend of Cabernet Franc and Syrah came off select Niagara Peninsula vineyards. The lots were fermented separately with 14 days on skins prior to being pressed and aged in older French, American, and Hungarian oak for 14 months prior to the final blend. Amply spiced, with exotic baking spices seasoning black cherry, blackcurrant, dark earth and ample cracked peppercorn. Tannins are firm and lightly gritty, guiding this fuller red to a spiced finish.
