The palate is more red fruit than black, with plums and black cherries, leading to a savoury mix of roasted coffee and dried herbs. Simple, rustic, yet well made, this would be a fun party red all summer at the barbecue. Tannins are moderate, with a finish of smoky oak and sweet spices.
