Fort Berens Reserve Riesling 2020
Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaFrom a single block off their Lillooet Dry Creek Vineyard, this low yield riesling was whole cluster pressed, and fermented slow and cold in stainless steel. There is a bump of RS here, but it barely takes this wine into the off-dry sector. The attack is on the wild BC side with a savoury sage-like undercurrent giving it a very Lillooet bent, mixed with pears, and clover honey, dusted with a hint of white pepper.
