Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaTheir estate Short Hills Bench site was settled by the Speck ancestors in the 18th century, and was planted in three vineyards, beginning in 1988, and across a variety of clones. It was barrel fermented in 1/3 new oak (Europe and American), where it remained for 8-10 months. Fragrant white florals, cold cream, ripe pear flood an expansive, creamy palate, with tight lemon lacing holding in the sides through a spiced finish.
