Casa di Baal Aglianico di Baal 2017

Campania, ItalyThis organic and biodynamically farmed Aglianico is rooted in the Salernitan Hills’ sandy clay soils. It was native fermented before resting twelve months in medium sized oak barrels, and then at least twelve months in the bottle prior to release. Wild scrubby herbs, cassis, wild blackberries, thorns, ferrous flood this fuller red, one lifted with a bright buzzy acidity. Tannins are ample, and well absorbed into the cushy fruit.Tasted: 15 June 2022Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
