Pyramid Valley North Cantebury Sauvignon + 2019
Canterbury, South Island, New ZealandFrom the South Island's northern part of Canterbury, this organic sauvignon blanc is selected from three vineyards throughout the Waipara, native fermented in a mix of tanks, older barrels, and amphora, with a tip of skin contact. The + part of the name refers to the splash of riesling and pinot gris added to the blend. Vibrant and pure, as is their style, with a buzzing undercurrent lighting up lime pith, tangerine, grapefruit, white peach, ripe pear, all wrapped with a fine toasty spice and blanketed with the time in wood and amphora.
