Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, Canada2019 Narrative XC is a charmat method fizz made from 42-year-old pinot blanc vines growing in Okanagan Falls. The method is 90 days (XC) on its lees in a pressurized tank, like Prosecco, before it gets bottled at a modest 4 g/L residual sugar. The light pink/peach colour precedes a lively bubble full of citrus cranberry striped with red currants and a touch of desert scrub for complexity.
