Abruzzo, ItalyTocco was founded in 1981 by Enisio Tocco, in the hills of Pescara, in Alanno, on the Adriatic coast. His sons Lorenzo and Danilo joined him in 2014 after studying and working abroad. Their 34 hectares (half dedicated to vines) is certified organic. This montepulciano was planted in 1990 on pergola training, and it was native fermented and reseted in stainless. Wild cherry, dark plush raspberry, dark cocoa wrap around a pure cherry core, framed with sticky tannins, lit with bright acidity, and finishing with subtle warming spices and ample stony salinity.
