Bachelder Lowrey Old Eastern Block Pinot Noir 2019

St David's Bench, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaThis is from the oldest block at Lowrey Vineyard, planted in 1984 and 1988 on St. David's Bench, not far from the Niagara River. The nose is lifted and perfumed, showing a combination of bright, pure fruit, with crunchy red cherries and raspberries, alongside fresh herbs and subtle spices. The palate manages to be both light and delicate yet exceptionally concentrated with remarkable energy and intensity to the fruit, along with underlying stoniness that carries the finish. Quite simply, wow.Tasted: 29 November 2021Tasted by: Geoffrey Moss MWPrices: ON 65.00 winery online/direct Producer: Bachelder OregonDistributors: Revelry Import Company
