Nada Giuseppe Dolcetto d'Alba 2014

Alba, Cuneo, Piedmont, ItalyThe winery and organically farmed vineyards of Nada Giuseppe are situated in Treiso, one of the four villages in the Barbaresco DOCG, and their Dolcetto grapes hail from the Casot cru, one of the oldest and most well-known, generally reserved for nebbiolo. From the sandy alluvial soils, this was fermented and rested in stainless to preserve the fresh, pure fruit. Alluring roses, peonies mingle with fresh plum, Morello cherry in this charmer, lofted with easy stony minerality and seasoned with ample white pepper. Tannins are fine and lightly sticky, guiding this slight (12.5%) red to the finish. Enjoy now with a slight chill.Tasted: 24 October 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
