Da Silva Pinot Noir 2018
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDa Silva Pinot Noir comes off Hidden Hollow Vineyard, in Penticton, owned and grown by Richard and Twylla da Silva; and Lazy Dog Vineyard, also in Penticton, owned by grower Dean and Liz Marchand. The style is slightly fat on the palate with black cherries mixing with earthy, forest floor and mushroom notes. The texture is silky and the alcohol is well balanced yet it presents a bit flat. Ready to drink and best with roasted chicken or a salmon grilled and smoked on the barbecued.
