Stag's Hollow Syrah Rosé 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaRipe wild strawberries mark the nose of this pink. The attack is similar with more strawberry and slightly candied fruit matched with a firm citrus undercurrent. It is a bit Provence-style in colour (pale) and notably the silky textures that run throughout the wine. The finish is essentially dry with savoury, sagebrush hints, and more juicy acidity to keep it all fresh. Ready to drink. The syrah comes off Amalia Vineyard on the Osoyoos West Bench, and the eight percent viognier is grown at Play Vineyard in southwest Penticton.
