Stag's Hollow Syrah Rosé 2012
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaLove the light colour given it is a syrah rosé but most of it was whole cluster pressed (no skin contact, no colour). The nose is an exotic mix of ripe strawberries fleck with oranges. Amazingly sweet or ripe attack with touches of watermelon, tangerine and pepper. The acidity is a bit overwhelmed by the sweet fruit but all in all this is an interesting rosé.
