Mirabel Chardonnay 2019
East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Reimer family owns Mirabel Winery. The South East Kelowna hilltop estate and vineyard is home to much-acclaimed pinot noir and, more recently, a small block of chardonnay plantings. The steep slope vineyards with southwest and northwest aspects at +49 degrees north sit at 284 to 372 metres. The estate chardonnay is still developing in the vineyard, but they have successfully purchased grapes out of Naramata for this wine. The style is fresh with rich, creamy lees textures and a swath of 25 percent new oak. Mineral wet stone notes add complexity to a long finish.
