East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA small amount of chardonnay has been planted on the estate, but the fruit for this wine is Naramata grown. The style is lean and linear with bright acidity that allows for a full malolactic fermentation and almost a year of ageing on its lees. The style is ‘less is more,’ leaving a very pure expression of BC chardonnay. Look for tropical fruit peeking through the streamlined palate, with lots of pears, apples, and a strong mineral wet stone undercurrent.
