Fitz Brut Sparkling Wine 2017

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2017 Fitz Brut is based on chardonnay (73%), plus 25% pinot noir and 2% pinot meunier, all from their Greata Ranch estate. This is the first time that pinot blanc wasn't included in the blend, showing their maturity as a serious sparkling producer. All were fermented in stainless, before 24 months on lees prior to disgorgement (6/6 g/L RS). Toasted brioche, red apple, white peach rule the creamy palate, with toasted almond and subtle cherry nougat on the finish. Easy and delightful in youth, this Okanagan-centric fizz should continue to build in your cellar over the next couple of years. Heading in the right direction.Tasted: 10 July 2021Tasted by: Prices: BC 32.99 BCLS Producer: Fitzpatrick Family VineyardsDistributors: Vintage West Wine Marketing
