Stoller Family Estate Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2019

Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesThe Stoller family established their Willamette property in 1943, and the vineyard 50 years later. Over the last 25 years, they have transformed the 400-acre property into the largest contiguous vineyard in Oregon’s Dundee Hills, and done it all sustainably, becoming the first winery in the world to receive LEED Gold certification along the way. From blocks across their Dundee Hills estate, this is a lovely summary of the AVA and its red clay Jory soils. This was primarily whole cluster, this was native fermented with 10 months in oak. Forest moss, crushed cherries, raspberries, and fine spices flow along the silken palate, with soft, light tannins housing, and an easy bright acidity lifting. Drinking well now.Tasted: 24 June 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
