Adelsheim Vineyard Breaking Ground Pinot Noir 2016

Chehalem Mountain , Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesFrom Chehalem Mountain's Laurelwood District and Ribbon Ridge AVAs, this pinot noir was partial whole cluster, with a 6 day cold soak followed by 2 week ferment, all in stainless. This then aged 10 months in 225L French barrels (29% new). Bright forest berries, cherry grace the palate, with long, light tannins holding all in and alluring spices woven throughout. Quite elegant and fine, drinking beautifully now and with time ahead.Tasted: 24 June 2021Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
