Spearhead Pinot Noir Saddle Block 2019

East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe fruit is sourced from Spearhead's estate Saddle Block Vineyard in South East Kelowna. It is a mix of pinot clones 115 and 828, all hand harvested, and cold soaked for 5-7 days before a natural, 16 to 21 day long ferment prior to spending just over a year in French oak barrels (approximately 25 percent new). The nose is high toned and savoury with a spicy, minty undertone. East Kelowna sour cherry mixes with floral, mineral, white pepper and a silky undercarriage on the palate. Just under the height of Coyote Vineyard but very fine, nevertheless. Drink with grilled root vegetables, duck, salmon, or a sausage pizza.Tasted: 14 June 2021Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
