Fort Berens Rosé 2020

Lillooet, British Columbia, CanadaPouring a day-glo electric fuchsia, this year's all-Lillooet rosé blended 80% pinot noir, 16% cabernet franc, and 4% merlot, the latter two the first graves harvested from their new Red Rock Vineyard, planted in 2018. The destemmed and crushed grapes had 48 hours of skin contact, providing that deep hue. Fruit forward, with punchy cranberry, watermelon, rhubarb, and baked red apple, lit with grapefruit pith and pineapple rind, lined with yogurt, and tamed by a slight bump of RS. Not a shy pink, so if you are looking for a louder one, here it is, ready for summer 2021.Tasted: 10 June 2021Tasted by: Prices:
